Thank you to Congressman Adam Schiff, Ranking Member of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and to Congresswoman Anna Eshoo, for supporting the DVC at our July 28 event. Congressman Schiff discussed America’s role in the world, immigration, the Mueller investigation, Congressional oversight, and the 2018 midterms. It is critical, he exhorted, to galvanize the base to vote! He pointed out that there is an incredible slate of candidates to support this year — “The best field, ever.” The GOP may have more money and gerrymandering on their side, but we can have the passion, the purpose, and the ideas to mount a powerful grassroots effort to win back the house.
