We're in a bit of a quiet period after a huge Presidential election and a critical Senate runoff election. We'll be adding new events in as we start to ramp up activities for the midterm elections and to protect voting rights.

Four-race fundraiser for a Democratic Senate

June 3, 2020

Wednesday, June 3, 2020
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Pacific time zone

Please join this virtual fundraiser for four strong Democratic candidates for Senate. Hear directly from:

Al Gross (Alaska)
Amy McGrath (Kentucky)
Barbara Bollier (Kansas)
Cal Cunningham (North Carolina)

All four are running for seats currently held by Republicans, and all four could win — and if they do, Democrats would definitely retake the Senate. The candidates will tell us about their backgrounds, the campaign ahead, and their policy priorities when they make it to Washington — and they’ll take questions from the audience.

Donation levels for the event start at $100 (in total, not per candidate). These candidates represent parts of the US stretching from the Outer Banks to the Aleutian Islands, and we hope to bring in people from every state in between for this event. So please tell your friends around the country about this event.

Even if you can’t attend, please consider donating. And whether or not you can make it, please watch each candidate’s tremendous campaign videos (just 1-3 minutes each):

Al Gross: Alaska Story
Amy McGrath: The Letter
Barbara Bollier: A Voice of Reason
Cal Cunningham: Listening to North Carolina

About the Candidates

Dr. Barbara Bollier is a strong advocate for public schools, access to affordable healthcare and balanced budgets. She’s running for an open U.S. Senate seat in Kansas. When elected this November, Barbara will be the first woman physician to ever serve in the United States Senate.

Cal Cunningham is a decorated veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq and a former North Carolina State Senator. Cal isn’t taking a dime of corporate PAC money and is running to expand healthcare, address climate change, and fight corruption.

Dr. Al Gross is an orthopedic surgeon, commercial fisherman, and lifelong Alaskan with deep ties to the state. After watching Alaska’s economy and healthcare system crumble over the last decade, Al decided to leave his orthopedic practice and devote himself to improving the broken healthcare system in Alaska and nationally because right now, the Senate needs a doctor.

Amy McGrath, a retired US Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel, was the first woman in the Marine Corps to fly a combat mission in an F/A-18. She was raised in Kentucky and is running for the US Senate against Mitch McConnell to fix Washington and give Kentuckians back their voice.
