A civil rights attorney and former legal director of the ACLU of Virginia\, Mehta has spent her career fighting for fairness\, healthcare access\, and civil liberties. Electing Leslie to Virginia’s House is essential for expanding the Democratic majority and advancing justice-focused policies. Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian will attend in person\, and Leslie will join us via Zoom\, to talk about what’s at stake in the election. \n\n\n\nYou can enjoy an enchanting afternoon at a private home and garden in Los Gatos. We’ll have wine\, hors d’oeuvres\, and a fabulous silent auction. Our host will also share her museum-quality collection of female artists\, which includes sculptures\, paintings\, and photographs. \n\n\n\nSuggested ticket price: $50 per person.
