Although Wisconsin Supreme Court elections are nonpartisan\, Judge Chris Taylor is supported by Democrats while Judge Maria Lazar is supported by Republicans.  \n\n\n\nJudge Taylor was an attorney and policy director for Planned Parenthood before being elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly. After serving in the Assembly for nearly a decade\, she was elected to the Wisconsin Court of Appeals\, her current position.
