DESCRIPTION:Join the 21st Century Democratic Club to hear from Susan Hinton\, chair of the Plastic Pollution Prevention Team of the Sierra Club Loma Prieta Chapter. A retired software engineer\, Susan actively lobbies local governments to enact ordinances banning new artificial turf installations. She has also served on the chapter’s Water Committee and Environmental Stewardship Program. An avid hiker and photographer\, she is also active with the California Native Plant Society and serves as a court-appointed special advocate for foster youth. \n\n\n\nLunch is at noon\, and the program begins at 12:30p.m. Please register by 4:00pm on Thursday\, February 12. Ticket prices: $30 for members\, $35 for non-members.
