No-host cocktails begin at 5:30pm\, and dinner is at 7:00pm. \n\n\n\nTicket prices: $200 and up\, or $150 for young Democrats (under 40).

The problem is that Field Team 6 has contact information for hundreds of thousands of unregistered likely Democrats – FAR more than they can afford to text. Yet texting is an incredibly effective outreach tool. And there is always huge volunteer demand for texting. \n\n\n\nThe solution is a Text Arcade. It’s a super-fast text bank that costs $25 a ticket. 100% of your ticket price goes to funding your 1\,400 texts. DESCRIPTION:Sign for a two-day\, one-night bus trip to the Central Valley to help flip the U.S. House! We’ll be knocking on doors for Randy Villegas in Congressional District 22 (CA-22). This district is in the top seven nationwide seats that are flippable. Why Porterville? Porterville has a critical 5000 doors that need to be knocked to win this election. Why this weekend? The voters will have just received their ballots in the mail. You can help make this happen! \n\n\n\nYou’ll get training on the bus. You’ll make your own own hotel reservations with the assistance of our canvassing concierge. Stipends are available for lodging and food. \n\n\n\nHere’s the schedule: \n\n\n\n\nSat. 7:00am: Depart from the Democratic Volunteer Center in Mountain View. \n\n\n\nSat. 11:00am: Begin knocking on doors in Porterville.\n\n\n\nSat. dinner will be coordinated for all the canvassers.\n\n\n\nSun. 9:30am – 2:30pm: Continue canvassing.\n\n\n\nSun. 7pm: Return on the bus to the DVC.\n\n\n\n\nThis trip is organized by the Santa Clara County Democratic Party in partnership with the Bay Area Coalition (BAC) and the Democratic Volunteer Center.

We supply all the equipment you need\, already configured to make it easy to use. You’ll first spend time with a trainer who will explain the process\, make some practice calls\, and ensure that you’re ready to make calls on your own. Yet texting is an incredibly effective outreach tool. And there is always huge volunteer demand for texting. \n\n\n\nThe solution is a Text Arcade.
