Measure A & Santa Clara County Healthcare

Join Santa Clara County executive James R. Williams for an in-person talk about the exceptional value of the unique Santa Clara County healthcare system and the crisis the county faces because of federal funding cuts. The county and community have responded to the crisis by putting Measure A on the November 4 ballot. Measure A would enact a 5/8-cent sales tax that would be in place for five years to help mitigate the damage the federal budget cuts have created. Whether you have insurance or not, you will be affected by these cuts if you live in Santa Clara County: lack of access to services, longer wait times, reduced emergency care.
