Palo Alto Poetry Walk for MI, WI (SD)
March 16 @ 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Join Sister District South Bay for a walk around old Palo Alto, where many streets are named for writers. You will hear stories about poets like Homer, Whitman, Coleridge, and Tennyson and about the history of the city, as well as descriptions of Bryant, Channing, Addison, Lincoln, Kingsley, Walter Scott, Melville, and Lowell. The proceeds will support the following grassroot power-building organizations this year:
- We the People Michigan
- Mothering Justice in Michigan
- Citizen Action of Wisconsin Education Fund
- WISDOM in Wisconsin
Ticket price: $25.25 per person.
