Palo Alto Poetry Walk (SW)
March 8 @ 2:00pm – 4:00pm
Have you ever noticed that many streets in Palo Alto are named after writers? Join States Win South Bay as we walk around a part of old Palo Alto, discussing poets, the founding history of Palo Alto, historical events through the centuries, and brief capsules of Bryant, Channing, Addison, Lincoln, Kingsley, Walter Scott, Melville, and Lowell.
The proceeds will go to Michigan state senate candidate Chedrick Greene (MI SD 35) in the May 5th Special Election that will determine control of the Michigan senate. The GOP is desperately trying to flip this seat, which would put the chamber under divided control and make it more difficult for Governor Whitmer to pass key legislation on issues like education funding, infrastructure investment, and economic development.
Suggested donation: $26.26 per person.
