Our calendar lists events by the DVC, partner organizations, and other groups helping to elect Democrats. All times listed in Pacific time. See a list of abbreviations below the calendar.
Postcards at the DVC
August 29 @ 12:00pm – 2:30pm
Writing letters and postcards provides a personal touch to voter outreach, and it’s a fun group activity. We write to encourage people to enroll in vote-by-mail programs. We ask people to check their registration status in states where there have been purges of people from the rolls. Importantly, we also write to get out the vote for vulnerable Democrats.
The Democratic Volunteer Center gives you three ways to participate in writing postcards and letters!
- Come into the DVC headquarters any Saturday from 12 noon to 2:30 pm Pacific time and write postcards in the office. Everything is provided except stamps, including help getting started.
- Come into the DVC headquarters at the same time and pick up a packet of postcards to take home.
- Join Sue and Melissa’s virtual parties with other postcard and letter writers, every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon. See the DVC calendar for details.
