Pros & cons of San Mateo County Measure A

Join the League of Women Voters of North & Central San Mateo County for an online presentation. This nonpartisan educational forum will cover the pros and cons of San Mateo County Measure A. This measure would grant the county board of supervisors the authority to remove an elected sheriff from office for cause by a 4/5 vote after written notice and an opportunity to be heard. It would expire in December of 2028. The special election will be held on March 4.
