Her campaign focuses on lowering the cost of living, making life better for Alaskans, and getting special interests out of politics. Mary made history by becoming the first Native American and first woman elected to Congress from Alaska. She served two terms as Alaska’s sole representative; previously she served in the state legislature and as a tribal court judge.
